Our story began where many modern love stories start—on Hinge. From there, endless conversations quickly led to our first date on February 2nd, 2023. Nathan had just moved back to Los Angeles to start a job at Sony Pictures Animation, and he invited Rachel for an unofficial studio tour. After a spontaneous lunch at Simonette, our journey officially began.

We knew it was special during a memorable trip to the Integratron in the California desert. As we lay beneath the dome, Nathan realized Rachel was the one.

Together, we've bonded over Rachel's passion for ballet—Nathan attends every performance he can—and our shared love of yoga, travel, zoos, and aquariums. Nathan's ballet attempts remain humorously earnest.

Nathan proposed at Baker Beach beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Despite a rainy forecast, the skies cleared just in time, and Rachel joyfully said yes with a hidden photographer capturing the moment.

Between Rachel's perfect pirouettes and Nathan's endless coding marathons, we've somehow found time to become charmingly grumpy together. Join us at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church to officially begin our LA story!
